2005 – present  Co-investigator of “Morning Report across Internal Medicine Residencies Nationwide:  Purpose, Content, and Structure.”  Funded by the Resident Research Committee at University of Illinois College of Medicine .

2001 - 2002 Principal Investigator of “Post-Discharge Medication Discrepancies in Patients who received an Auto-Substituted Medication During Hospitalization” – Awarded the $5,500 “New Investigator/Mentor Grant” by Sigma Theta Tau.

1996 - 1998 Co-Investigator of "Use of Heliox in the Emergency Department Treatment of Status Asthmaticus."  Funded with a Saint Francis Medical Center Emergency Department grant.
