Dr. Charles Egley Named to Best Doctors in America

Peoria, Illinois June 23, 2009—Dr. Charles Egley of Methodist Medical Group Perinatology has been named one of the Best Doctors in America for 2009-2010. Dr. Egley is Board Certified in Obstetrics-Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He completed his medical education at the University of Illinois with a residency at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Egley was the first physician in Illinois outside of Cook County to offer a first trimester screening test that reliably identifies fetuses likely to be born with Down syndrome, providing expectant women with this information much earlier in their pregnancy.
