Methodist Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Accredited

The Methodist Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine has again been accredited by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Methodist is one of only two in Illinois and one of 98 in the U.S. to receive accreditation. Methodist received Accreditation with Distinction, which is the highest level of accreditation given by the Hyperbaric Medical Society.

To receive accreditation, the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society sends a team of experts to examine and evaluate staffing and training, equipment installation, operation, and maintenance, facility and patient safety, and standards of care.
