Methodist Rehabilitation Center Awarded CARF Accreditation
The Methodist Inpatient Rehabilitation Center has been awarded a three-year accreditation from CARF International for its Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs and for its Adult Hospital Stroke Specialty Program. CARF International is an independent, non-profit accrediting body with a mission to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a patient centered accreditation process.
The accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows Methodist’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. The Methodist Rehabilitation programs have completed a rigorous peer review process that includes an on-site surveyor visit, and have demonstrated to the CARF team of surveyors that programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation and Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
