MFCCC focuses on meeting the kids and parents needs, which gives the parents peace of mind to focus on their job while at work. You will receive periodic written reports from your child's classroom teacher. Periods of time between reports vary with your child's age group. Notices of all field trips and other important events are posted in your child's classroom. In order for your child to participate in a field trip off campus, you must sign a release form or field trip notice in the classroom. Menus, illness notifications and other pertinent information are posted in the Parent's Cove. A newsletter, prepared by the director, is sent home periodically with each child. Please check your child's "cubby" daily. It is important for you to retrieve communications, information, children's projects, and soiled clothing every day.

Parent Steering Committee
The Parent Steering Committee (PSC) is a group of parents who partner with teachers and administrators of MFCCC to provide support, ideas, and overall involvement in the Center's activities and future planning. The PSC meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm in the Child Care Commons. These informal meetings are a great way to meet other parents, help plan special events and provide suggestions to the Center's advancement. The parents of the PSC also determine how the funds raised in different PSC-sponsored fundraisers are spent. The PSC dollars allow us to fund the nice "extras" for the Center. There are so many ways to participate in the development and care of your child(ren). PSC is a great way to share your observations, suggestions, support, and feedback.
