Infection Prevention & Control

This report provides information on the number of people who acquire an infection while in the hospital. Infection Prevention and Control refers to activities performed to reduce the risk of infections. We follow CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines for the identification and prevention of infections. Methodist has been a long-standing member of the CDC infection network for analysis and collection of data.  We practice standards of patient care to reduce the risk of infections.
