Devendra V. Trivedi, M.D.
Laboratory Director
Special interest: Cytopathology & Surgical Pathology
Dr. Trivedi obtained his undergraduate degree in 1972 from Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. After working three years for the state of Gujarat, India public health department, he traveled to Atlantic City, New Jersey, to complete a 4-year residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Atlantic City Medical Center. Dr. Trivedi completed a fellowship in cytopathology at Wilford Hall Medical Center located in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining Methodist in 1990, he served at three U.S. Air Force hospitals as staff pathologist, deputy chairman, and chairman of the pathology departments. He is a clinical assistant professor in Pathology for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and a member of Peoria Tazewell Pathology Group.
Elizabeth Alenghat, M.D.
Special interest: Gynecological Pathology
Dr. Alenghat graduated in 1972 from Madras University in Chennai, India, and completed her pathology residency at Bridgeport Hospital located in Connecticut. She trained for two years in obstetrical, gynecological and perinatal pathology at Boston Hospital for Women/ Harvard Medical School, and then worked as an assistant professor in OB/GYN Pathology at the University of Chicago for 6-years. Dr Alenghat is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. Prior to joining Methodist Medical Center, she practiced general pathology at Methodist Hospital of Gary and Merrillville, Indiana, served as Laboratory Director of Hyde Park Hospital in Chicago, and Laboratory Director of Kewanee Hospital. She is a clinical assistant professor in pathology for the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and a member of Peoria Tazewell Pathology Group.
Horea Baila, M.D.
Special interest: Gastrointestinal Pathology & Pulmonary Pathology
Dr. Baila completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Illinois and was Chief Resident at Advocate-Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He obtained his MD from Iuliu Hatieganu University in Romania and Tor Vergata University in Italy. Dr. Baila served as an Assistant Professor for two years at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, where he also completed a surgical pathology fellowship. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. In December 2006, Dr. Baila joined Methodist Medical Center and the Peoria Tazewell Pathology Group.
Elizabeth A. Bauer-Marsh, M.D.
Special interest: Breast Pathology
Dr. Bauer-Marsh graduated with honors from Syracuse University and received an MD from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1995. She completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Northwestern University McGraw Medical Center in 2000 where her final year included special training in breast pathology. Dr. Bauer-Marsh is board certified in clinical and anatomic pathology. She joined Methodist Medical Center after completing her residency at Northwestern and is currently the secretary for Peoria Tazewell Pathology Group.
Allan C. Campbell, M.D.
Special interest: Dermatopathology
Dr. Campbell graduated from the University of Illinois with honors and from the Washington University School of Medicine in 1967. He completed his internship at Baylor Medical College Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, TX. His pathology training was completed at Washington University Affiliated Hospitals in St. Louis, MO, and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and dermatopathology, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatopathology. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology and Dermatopathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, and is a past president of the Illinois Society of Pathologists.
Ronald Champagne, M.D.
Special interest: Surgical Pathology & Cytopathology
Dr. Champagne obtained his undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis and received his MD from Rush University in Chicago. He completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Emory University School of Medicine and Northwestern University McGraw Medical Center. During his final year of residency he received special training in cytopathology and surgical pathology. Dr. Champagne is a diplomat of the American Board of Pathology. Following his residency, he practiced pathology at Genesis Clinical Laboratory and MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, where he served as the directory of the microbiology laboratory. He joined Methodist Medical Center in 2003 and is a member of the Peoria Tazewell Pathology Group.
Donald L. Frederick, Ph.D.
Special interest: Toxicology & Clinical Chemistry
Dr. Frederick completed his graduate education at the University of Virginia and obtained his PhD in Pathology from the Medical College of Virginia in 1976. He worked as an assistant professor in the Pathology Department at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center where he was Director of the Clinical Toxicology Laboratory. Dr. Frederick spent five years as Director of Quality Assurance for the U.S. Air Force drug testing program. Prior to joining Methodist Medical Center in 1996, he was the Laboratory Director for Wisconsin Correctional Services Drug Screening Laboratory and Director of Toxicology for Franciscan Shared Laboratory in Wisconsin. Dr Frederick is board certified as a high-complexity clinical laboratory director by ABB and forensic toxicologist by ABFT.
Juan G. Gonzalez, M.D.
Special interest: Hematopathology
Dr. Gonzalez obtained his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, TX and did a year of Surgical Pathology fellowship at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Before coming to Methodist he was a member of the Department of Pathology of Washington University School of Medicine and then moved to private practice in Oklahoma City, OK.
Douglas J. McGrady, M.D.
Special interest: Clinical Microbiology
Dr. McGrady completed his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois in Urbana and obtained his M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield in 1976. His residency in anatomic and clinical pathology was at the University of Iowa and he is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. Dr. McGrady completed a fellowship in clinical microbiology at Indiana University School of Medicine and practiced general pathology in Belleville, Illinois, for seven years. He joined Methodist Medical Center in 1989, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
Adam Quinn, D.O.
Special interest: Dermatopathology
Dr. Quinn received his B.A. in Biology from Syracuse University and M.F.A. in medical illustration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a medical photographer prior to receiving his medical degree from Des Moines University. His residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Loyola University Medical Center was followed by a fellowship in surgical pathology at Loyola. He then completed an additional fellowship training in dermatopathology at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and board certified in dermatopathology.
Channon C. Rider, M.S.
Special interest: Digital Imaging
Channon received her B.A. in Biology from Monmouth College in 2004 and an M.S. in pathology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2006. She joined Methodist Medical Center in 2006.
Thomas W. Webb, M.D.
Special interest: Practice Management
Dr. Webb attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, to obtain his undergraduate degree and his M.D. He went on to complete an internship at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana, and his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Webb is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. He worked as a staff pathologist at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana for 8 years, and joined Methodist Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Webb is Clinical Assistant Professor in Pathology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. He served as Interim Medical Director for American Red Cross Blood Services, Peoria (1991-92), and was a previous Laboratory Director of Methodist Medical Center of Illinois.
