What is Lifeline?
Methodist Lifeline is the easy-to-use personal response service that gives older adults living at home fast help whenever they need it—24 hours a day, 365 days a year .
How Lifeline Works
- Press your Personal Help Button (worn around neck or on wristband).
- In seconds, a trained Lifeline employee (called a Monitor) asks you what you need.
- The Lifeline Monitor calls a neighbor, loved one, or emergency services to help you.
- The Lifeline Monitor follows up to make sure help arrived.
Lifeline:
- Sends fast help for falls and other medical emergencies
- Is there for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- Is easy to use—help is just a push-of-a-button away

- Lets you live independently in your own home
Lifeline is NOT just for medical emergencies. The service also allows you to answer the telephone without having to rush to grab a handset and risk falling.
How much does the service cost?
For a little more than $1 a day, you get the Lifeline Personal Response Service and the peace of mind of knowing you are never alone.
