Pain Center Services & Treatment Options

Methodist Comprehensive Spine and Pain Center offers a full range of non-surgical and surgical treatment options for back and neck pain.  Our main goal is to improve your function and quality of life so you can work, play and enjoy all the activities you love most.

Our services include:

  • Physical/neurological evaluation
  • Patient education
  • Physical therapy
  • Pain psychology
  • Surgical evaluation (if non-surgical treatments have not been effective)
  • X-ray
  • CT and MRI (available at Methodist Medical Center)

The first option for treatment is usually non-surgical.  In many cases, brief rest, muscle relaxers, and physical therapy will help restore function and get you back to health.  If other treatments are needed our doctors will talk with you about your treatment options

Treatment Options

Depending on your neck or back condition, non-surgical procedures performed here in our outpatient center may include:

  • Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections

Surgical Evaluation

Our interventional pain management physicians may also offer spinal cord stimulator implants as an alternative to spine surgery.
