Steps to Healing
Our team approach at the Methodist Comprehensive Spine and Pain Center gives you more treatment options. Your care team will answer your questions and make sure you are comfortable with your treatment. We will guide you through the following steps to pain relief and greater function:
Your Physician Visit: What to Expect
During your first visit, your doctor will talk with and listen to you, examine you, and review your medical history. Based on your examination, your doctor may order a test, such as an X-ray, MRI, or CT scan, to help diagnose what’s causing your pain. You might also be asked to meet with a pain-specialized physical therapist or pain psychologist.
Treatment Options
Physical therapy, biofeedback and pain psychology are just a few of the treatment options that have offered real and lasting results to our patients. Your care team uses the latest and least invasive treatments available to improve your function and speed you to healing sooner. And you can rest assured that medical evidence has proven these treatments effective.
Education: Learn More, Heal Sooner
Learning more about your condition can decrease anxiety and help you heal faster. We teach you about the cause of your pain. The more you learn about your condition, the better you will understand your treatment options and how you can improve your quality of life.
