Membership

The Wellness Center has many membership options to choose from.  Call us at (309) 672-5904 for more information.  All memberships require a one-time $75 fee, which includes the MicroFit fitness profile.   

6 or 12 Month Memberships

This membership requires a one-time $75 fee, which includes:

  • Individual exercise prescription tailored to meet your goals
  • Fitness assessment to assess your fitness levels for cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition
  • Health screening for blood pressure, blood glucose, total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, tri-glycerides, total cholesterol/HDL ratio
  • Three month follow up for fitness assessment
  • Three month follow up for health screenings
  • Free cardiovascular and Cybex equipment orientations.

Membership includes an exercise consultation, MicroFit fitness profile, and use of the cardiovascular equipment, Cybex resistive equipment, free weights, group fitness classes, and the lap pool.

Your exercise consultation takes approximately 60 minutes and includes a basic orientation on proper usage of the cardiovascular and resistive equipment.  The MicroFit fitness profile takes approximately 45 minutes and includes: resting heart rate, blood pressure, height, weight, body composition, step test for cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and muscular strength and endurance analysis.

Payment Options:  Payroll deduction is available for Methodist employees.  Electronic fund transfer is available for Preferred Provider companies, community, and Methodist Connection members.

Group Fitness Membership

$75 for 3 months

Includes participation in both land and water group classes.  Payment in full is required.

Lap Pool Membership

$75 for 3 months

Includes use of the lap pool only. Payment in full is required.

Guest Pass

$10 per day

Deposit

A $10 deposit is required for an access card to the Wellness Center.  Your deposit will be refunded when the access card is returned.
