All Digital Mammography

Our specialty-trained female technologists use all-digital breast imaging equipment that makes your screening mammogram faster, easier, and more comfortable. And every Methodist screening mammogram gets a "second look" from our R2 ImageChecker computer-aided detection system.

MRI

Methodist North offers advanced MR exams not available at some other outpatient imaging facilities. Our 3T MRI/MRA scanner uses the latest technology to produce fast, highly-detailed images. We also offer imaging of both breasts in a single visit for individuals at risk for breast disease.

CT (CAT Scan)

Methodist North's state-of-the-art spiral CT scanner gathers 64 "slices" per second of high-resolution images throughout the body, including the heart and coronary arteries. And because your safety is our highest priority, we use innovative low-radiation-dose technology.

Bone Density Scan

Make sure your bones are strong and healthy with a DEXA bone density scan. DEXA is quick, painless and the preferred method to measure bone mineral density for adults and children.

General Ultrasound

Ultrasound (also called a sonogram) is a painless, non-invasive test that uses sound waves to create images of the inside of the body. At Methodist North, we offer high-quality ultrasound testing of the abdominal and pelvic organs.

Vascular Ultrasound

In addition to general ultrasound, Methodist North offers specialized vascular ultrasound (sonogram) exams. Vascular ultrasound measures blood flow through major arteries and veins. We also feature Doppler ultrasound technology, which can detect blood clots in the arms and legs.

Echocardiogram

You can have your echocardiogram right here at Methodist North. An "echo" is a special ultrasound (sonogram) exam that uses sound waves to create detailed pictures of your heart. This test can provide important information about the size and shape of your heart and how well your heart's chambers and valves are working.
