We take patient satisfaction seriously at Methodist. Our patients told us they wanted private rooms and we listened. We remodeled and redesigned our patient areas to provide our patients more of what they asked for. Now every room is a private room in Methodist’s acute care units. That includes maternity, cardiac, medical, surgical, and pediatric rooms.

Every acute care unit also includes dedicated patient care facilitators. The care facilitator is an experienced Registered Nurse who coordinates each patient’s care and enhances communication between the patient, family, physician and staff.

At Methodist, we want to exceed your expectations for quality, comfort and safety. Private rooms, excellent nurses, and patient care facilitators help us achieve that.

Support from family and friends is important to wellness.  That's why we offer Cheer Cards.  A way for your family and friends to communicate their care and love to you.  We also partner with CaringBridge to allow you the ability to communicate your experience to your family and friends with one easy message.  Out-of-town family members are welcome (depending on availability) to stay at The Methodist Inn - free, hotel-like accomodations within the hospital itself.  We also offer comfortable family lounges; most equipped with internet access, kitchen and dining room.

Information and education about your condition is made available to you and your family through your Care Facilitator.  Our website also offers information on thousands of medical conditions, tests, procedures, and more through our ADAM health content. 

Interior Design is important in a healing environment.  That's why we offer private rooms with wood floors.  Soothing colors and natural lighting accompanied by comfortable and functional furniture, not to mention a flat screen tv.
